Overgrowths of the naturally occurring yeast Candida can occur vaginally, orally, or throughout the digestive tract. Commonly known as 'thrush', and responsible for sore, itchy tissues and white discharge, Candida overgrowths are common after antibiotic use, on the nipples of breastfeeding mums and in their baby's mouths, and for women during pregnancy. Some women also get such overgrowths around the time of their periods due to fluctuations in pH and hormones.
A naturopathic approach to overcoming such overgrowths involves the use of natural antifungal agents, combined with a low sugar diet and the use of probiotic foods or supplements.
This formula utilises the potency of herbal remedies in a format that is both easy to administer and safe and palatable for all ages. We design remedies that are easy for parents and give effective support to babies, children, pregnant women, and anyone else who needs it.
Ingredients:
Cascara sagrada, Ginger, Golden Seal, Licorice, Marshmallow, Baptisia, Echinacea, Olive leaf, Poke root, Red Sage, Thyme, Picrorrhiza, Propolis, Myrrh, Herbal Water.
Directions:
For children:
Acute relief: take 3-5 drops up to 6 times daily
Maintenance: take 3-5 drops 3 x daily
Drops may be given straight into the baby's mouth or from a spoon, in water or a bottle, or on food.
For adults:
Acute relief: take 10 drops up to 6 times daily
Use drops straight in the mouth or pop into a water bottle to sip throughout the day, or on food.
Drops can be given at any time. Use maximum frequency of dosing when needed for more acute relief, and less often as maintenance or prevention, especially during vulnerable times.
Each 5 drops contains just 0.005 g fresh herb equivalent, so interactions with medications are very unlikely. If you're taking other medication, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your healthcare professional before use.

Please note:
Homeobotanical Formulas often have sediment because they are made from natural plant extracts, which may contain small particles of herbs, roots, or other plant materials. The sediment forms when these natural components settle over time.
Some homeobotanical formulations are intentionally left less processed to retain the full spectrum of plant compounds, which enhances their effectiveness.
Shaking the bottle before use can help to redistribute the sediment but either way is not harmful and is perfectly normal.
